The Banquet is where you should spend your Friday evening after you arrive in South Dakota. Enjoy an evening with pheasant hunters from all over the United States and Canada in the world famous Corn Palace.

Wildlife tree planting incentive agreement In 1997 Pheasant Country established a Wildlife Tree Planting Incentive Program to encourage landowners to establish shelterbelts. Pheasants need protection from the harsh South Dakota winters to help them survive until the spring nesting season.
Youth Programs Each year organizations and individuals offer their time and land to help young hunters experience a quality pheasant hunt. Usually the participants are selected from a drawing of students enrolled in a Hunter Safety Course so most are 12 or 13 years old. Pheasant Country Inc. sponsors the State Youth 4-H Trap shoot in Mitchell each July.
